If it has non standard wheels and those silly window deflector things that's a friend of mine's car. The last time I saw it it had just had an ESS S/C kit fitted. I believe it was originally green and had a respray at some point. Where did you see it?
I think we must be talking about different cars - this one had standard E39 M5 wheels, it was in the dark metallic blue colour whose name escapes me and it looked like it had just left the showroom. Did not notice any window deflector things.Seen in Southampton.
Checked on the DVLA MOT site, and the last mileage shown was about 140k, so must have had some serious restoration work to get it looking so good.
This 1's mine
It's a RHD UK spec car that was originally registered in Switzerland in 1999 & returned to the UK in 2004.
It actually hasn't had any restoration work & has a few localised rust spots (edge of sills & rear slam panel) but on the move & from 20 foot it looks clean.
Oh & the colour is Avus blue.
Thanks for the kind comments!

Did this car used to live in Nottingham? If so, then it used to be a friend of mine’s car. His name began with an S. Lovely car.
