A friend recently finished a contract installing some equipment in some new offices. He was sub contracting for the firm that built the offices for a borough council. He finished the work on the 15th of April and on the following Tuesday received a letter from the receivers for the firm that he was subbing for informing him that they were in receivership. Due to the fact that he was subbing and that the council had already paid the firm he is basically now £28k down and pretty pissed off . It has transpired that the firm although on the surface was legitimate was actually being run by the sales manager who it turns out is a discharged bankrupt with a history for this sort of thing. The directors of the company were little more than puppets. The sales manager is currently on holiday in Mexico whilst the directors of the firm are getting all the grief. My friend knows where the chap lives (rented accomodation) and is looking for suggestions for revenge. Nothing malicious just some ideas to make the guys life awkward for next few months. We're thinking more along the lines of a campaign here so the more ideas the better. Any suggestions welcome

If it's not been paid for, can't he take the equipment back? 'Title of the goods shall not pass until...' etc.

Thats what I thought He's had legal advice and due to the fact that he was subbing his contract is with his customer and not the council. He's already had a heavy handed letter from the council legal people warning that he will be prosecuted if he trespasses. The most annoying thing is that he now has a bill for £20k due in 70 days to his supplier!

Recipe for Revenge, Best served cold.

1) Go to Tesco's or other similar cheap priced outlet armed with a £50 note.

2) Spend £40 on the cheapest tinned dog food, preferably with Tripe in it

3) Find bottle of spirit for around £10.

4) Invite friend over to help with revenge.

5) You and accomplice open all the tins and empty them breaking the dogfood up, into double lined bin bags (so they don't break with the weight).

6) Consume said bottle of alchahol with comrade - it takes your mind of the smell and boring task of opening 100 tins of dog food..

7) Get another sober colleague to drive you pissed pair of nutters over to said house at around 2am and empty contents onto the lawn and any grass/ flowerbed areas. High uncut grass is the best for this.
8) Visit house the following day in afternoon with camera. Take note of different animal species mixing with impunity.

9) Visit house the following day with Environmental Health Officer. Take note of angry neighbours etc.

This method works - tried and tested . Woe betide anyone that crosses me

Has the Council paid for them? If not then by the same logic they still belong to the contractor who pulled a fast one.

Nasty. If I was really left with a £20K debt, I think I'd ignore it and take a CCJ instead.

Meet the sales manager at the airport, CS gas him in the car park and bundle him onto a van. Drive to a remote farm or similar. Torture sales manager by cutting off extremities/gouging eyes/electrocution etc. until he presents a workable solution. Keep him there until cash is located. Kill him by cutting his dk off and letting him bleed to death.

Or is that a little extreme?

Tricks you can actually play without being too yourself

Can of petrol, write "tw@ts house" on his lawn. It should still be visible by the end of summer.

Paint similar wording on his driveway, visible from the street

Take appart his water pipes, ram several potatoes up and reconnect pipes.

Snip the phone wire. Saw down a small tree in the garden. tie a load of cans to his bumper, pushing them under the car. With luck he wont notice till he's halfway down the road. Stick a pro-nazi sticker on the passenger door, theres a chance he wont notice it for a while. If you're brave enough to risk propping up a ladder in the still of night, you could spray "Wife Beater" on the roof tiles. Let his tyres down is probably the most sensible, bear in mind whatever you do wont be fair on the landlord if he's footing the bill.

Has this come from a solicitor or just advice from someone else? Do his invoices carry the wording "All items listed above remain the property of ********* until such time as payment has been recieved by this company"? If they do then in my opinion the goods are still his property.

1 week old fishguts from a bucket, poured down the bottom of the windscreen into the engine bay, is always a good one.

Or, take a photo of the chap, print off a poster with "THIS MAN IS A CONVICTED PAEDOPHILE" and the photo, and staple it to all the trees and signposts in his immediate area.

It's a shame he's in rented accommodation.
A couple of carefully placed calls to HM Customs & Excise can get them out, literally rip the place apart & give hassle for years after.

If you have some money, hire a prostitute to approach him. Then present his wife with the photographic proof.

Apparently from a solicitor! Alledgedly Retention of Title is difficult to enforce. I'm sure one of the solicitors on here will know
