W204 C Class (C63) Command Screen Blank/No Power

Booked my c63 for its annual service for two weeks time. The car ha been bullet proof to be fair and it does have a remainder of warranty remaining.

Sods law that a day later my command screen refused to power on when starting the car. the USB slot doesn't work when this is off, no indication its getting power or attempting to turn on - no fans, heat, zero.

However it will actually come back on when it fancies, perhaps lasting a full journey fault free, this weekend it turned off mid-journey for the first time. Does anyone have any idea what's going on here and experienced this problem?

I'm just hoping this AMG used approved warranty covers this!

Can’t see why it would not be covered. Perfect timing really.

Either a wiring harness issue or a processor problem. Mercedes can fix it or a decent independent with an electronics dept. Nothing rocket science about car wiring looms if you know the basics.
