VOIP provider and Hosted PBX
Discussion
I'm looking for a VOIP provider with Hosted PBX that is extremely reliable and versatile.
Requirements would be
- Multisite (ability to have different sub companies, transfer and divert calls between various sites)
- Mobile integration (ability to use from smartphones)
- Voicemail to email (would be nice, but not essential)
- Fax services option
- Instant messaging office
- Great Sound Quality
- iOS app to manage and administer all options for the above.
- I want as little hardware as possible on site.
- Cheap/Free Calls would be great.
I'm also looking for a broadband provider to support the above. It would be nice to have some type of SLA and a new fresh wire leading up to each site to ensure a good quality bandwidth.
Any recommendations would be gratefully received.

Thanks, I have contacted a couple of you guys, some didn't respond.
I've also looked at www.yay.com , I like the way that their website explains things and has lots of options listed (e.g. there are a lot of apps that can be used with their service).
Do I need to worry about where my numbers are held and whether I would be able to move them in future? How do I ensure I retain 'ownership' of numbers?

Do I need to worry about where my numbers are held and whether I would be able to move them in future? How do I ensure I retain 'ownership' of numbers?
Yes you do need to be careful about numbers and where you get them from. Check the terms and conditions, some are sensible and allow you to move for free, others not so much. I am working with a client currently where we are looking to move their existing voip service across to us and the incumbent is demanding £50 for each number, including DDIs. He has around 30 numbers he wants to move.....

Is it possible to host/hold the numbers somewhere that’s safe and cheap that then points to the chosen VOIP provider?
No. The Voip provider needs to hold the numbers for routing. Pm me if you want, I can introduce you to a very good and decent service provider who will host and alow you to port for free if you decide to go elsewhere in the future. We dont do cloud voip solutions (we do onsite virtual 3cx pbx systems alongside our core it support services) so I cant help first hand.Gassing Station | Business | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
