Connecting Jump Leads

I remember reading somewhere about a wiring mod that allowed you to connect jump leads under the bonnet rather than wrestling with them in the footwell.

I know Leven do a kit, but at 70 sods it seems a little bit steep for what it is

Anyone tried anything else?
