Rover 5L Plenum spacer

Hello All,

I'm thinking about fitting the SC-Power Plenum spacer, new trumpets and gasket to my Griff 500. I'm hoping it will give smoother performance at lower RPM and better throttle response. Has anyone noticed the difference after fitting one and will the engine require Remapping? There has been a previous post about the spacer but it doesn't address engine tuning requirements.

Me too, I've fancied doing this for a long time. Tall trumpets with restricted head space sounds like a worthwhile mod to ease air flow. My problem is that the spacer price is significantly greater than the possible benefits

The reality being it may make ZERO difference in the real world! Lol I guess it would be throttle response is be more interested in than 1 or 2 bhp.
