I just cant seem to lose the hankering i have for one of these.
I'm in the 30k ish mark ... maybe a bit more for the right spec.
Good points ?
Bad points ?
Anything to look out for ?
I'd ideally like the 272hp or 320hp if i can find one.

Ok I will pitch in here

I purchased a 3.0 tdi 245ps Allroad 4 years ago when it was a year old and put 40k miles on it

Mine was a high spec model from Audi management car and has useless things like lane and park assist and a TV !

But the things I rate are

The air suspension and ride - I live down an unmade road in the sticks and its never ever run into any issue and the ride on roads is amazing

The drive select allows you to select your suspension, steering and ride height

The fuel economy -computer says i have averaged 34 mpg which is 70 percent commute where I am lucky to see 40 mph and the rest motorway

It likes tyres every 20k - 105 quid a corner

Pads every 40k - 70 quid front

Only thing that has gone ping on mine was an oxygent sensor which was done under warranty and then a throttle valve (sourced second hand one on Ebay for 60 quid and took 2 mins to fit)

Would advise getting VCDS and cable so you can scan for your faults and keep an eye on it rather than the dealer charging you 89 quid a pop for nowt

I have the opportunity to change it - but am struggling to find something as capable, comfortable, safe and rapid when it want to be.

And try and find one with a panoramic sunroof - makes a big difference to the inerior

Was tempted to get a BiTdi but to be honest there is very little to substanciate the additional 5k
