I have a 05 boxster that is pretty much mint and V low miles.

Today had the screen replaced and one side of the lower trim is quite proud, did point it out but he didnt seem that bothered.
Fairly sure I am not being pedantic but, thoughts?

I wouldn't accept that. Get them back to rectify.

Yeah, more I look at it its clearly not acceptable, the seal is there for a reason, he was just so blase about it.

Got their "warranty" people coming out to deal with it in a week.

Its a shame as it probably would have only took 5 minutes of rejigging.

The scuttle/wiper trim is very adjustable; having four mounting points quite well spaced - it's possible the 10mm nuts under the trim caps have been overtightened, this forces the ends 'up'.

This, and the possibility that the cowl was bent on removal. TBF it is a very soft composite and does bend easily, by that, it is also just as easy to reshape and tighten to provide a better finish against the glass.

That is a snug fit by modern Porsche standards smile
Sorry, couldn't resist.
