Audi Service Plan

Has anyone successfully purchased a service plan for a 2 year old Audi?
Despite Audi's website showing a service plan for 0-3 year old vehicles apparently you can only purchase this when the car is new and now have to wait until the car is 3 years old. No mention of the purchase needing to be done when the car is ordered or first delivered.

Dealership are unsure, Audi customer service were unsure but are now adamant it cannot be done.

I believe that is correct; as I understand it there is a 'factory order' service plan only available on new build vehicles and then a "fixed price service plan for vehicles over 3 years old".

You're right in that it doesn't seem to be particularly well documented...
