Hey guys,

The way I see it the Sedan is much more stylish and “Businessman CEO” looking kind of car whereas the Sportback is a mean, adventurous and “I go camping but don’t bring a tent because I build my own shelter from mud, branches and leaves” kind of car.
Jesus Christ.. Really?

Although if you must I would have the "saloon" unless you are American.

I don't think anyone who owns an A3 would ever be the "I build my own shelter from mud, branches and leaves" type...

Also, are you American as you keep calling the saloon the sedan.

Although both give the imagine that you've made it to the top in life I'd probably go for the hatchback. On the basis that women go crazy for Bear Grylls and I can only imagine he probably drives one of these himself.

I think Red would attract too much attention though. Maybe grey would blend in better with other entrepreneurs driving around in these fantastic machines.

Yeah that was a joke, my bad.

No I’m British, I’ll make sure the call them Saloons rather than Sedan in future.

I sense a bit of sarcasm here.

Well spotted. The reality is no-one gives a st about who drives what because there is little correlation between the two. 99.99% of people see a car and don't draw conclusions. As for the 0.01%, their assumption is probably wrong so you might as well buy the one you fancy for you and your needs, not others you'll never meet.

fking hell, okay. I was asking for some advice in hope that people on here might have a bit of experience with the two cars. I don’t know if that came across wrong or what...

The poster re half term was right .

Not much point deleting the Op when the first reply quoted it ,as per the first rule of PH.
