Servicing North Lancs area
Discussion
I have always taken my 98 Chimaera to the factory service dept for it's annual service. However, when I rang there some weeks ago they said they weren't currently taking any bookings. Rang again today and disappointingly got the same response.
So now I'm looking for someone to service the beast.
As it's now seven years old and done 35k, is it really worth keeping up the dealer service history or will an independant now suffice?
TVRCC Cumbria Region have a link on their website to this garage www.tvr-cumbria.co.uk/parkroad_garage.htm
I don't know whether it's because they endorse it's services or because the garage are providing the club some sponsorship.
Are there any satisfied customers on here, or does anyone have any other recommendations in this area?

Early last year I tried to get some work done there - rang twice & spoke to a mechanic (I think) who said both times he'd get the boss to ring back. And he never did so they didn't get the work. Wasn't really a positive experience. Like you, I usually use the factory so would be interested to know of a knowledgable independant in the area.
