I have never been so confused as to which car to buy next.
Discussion
I sold my beloved Q7 - 4.2 TDI. Amazing car, had pretty much every extra. Sold for 13500.
I am looking for a replacement, preferably another 4x4 and preferably with good high spec.
The Porsche cayene 2010 - 2013 catches my eye at around 20 to 25k. But, its the same as the Q7, same engine (well mainly 3.0 tdi) which i avoided when i went to buy a Q7, 2 less seats than the Q7 as well! Plus you're literally paying 10k more for the badge. So im not sure about that.
I want another Diesel. I really LOVE the NEW Q7 which is 34k minimum for a used 2015. Which is probably out of my budget. I want to spend 25k maximum. Perhaps I could wait till 2019 when the 2015/2016 plate Q7's will be (hopefully) 25k.
What is there?

Sounds like your old Q7 would have been perfect. Perhaps you should have kept that, at least until you had made your mind up about what to replace it with!I am looking for a replacement, preferably another 4x4 and preferably with good high spec.

Do you mean SUV, rather than 4x4?
Traditionally us Brits say 4x4. SUV is a more of an american term. But yes... a SUV if you wanted to be pedantic about it .Pica-Pica said:
I am a Brit. A 4x4 has four axle ends and all four are driven. It DOES NOT describe the size of vehicle!!!
It doesn't describe the size of vehicle these days, no. It used to. I guess im more old skool. Can we move away from this unimportant subject now people? I couldn't give a damn if you called it a chelsea tractor, At least I'd still understand what you meant.
Infiniti QX70, quite rare and great specification. I bought one to replace a Porsche Cayenne and only have 2 regrets.... One, that I didn't change sooner, and two that's I never bought the 5 Litre V8 Petrol version. Although, the 3 Litre TD is perfectly good, just that I miss the V8 growl which the Cayenne had....
