Hi,

Can any Audi RS5 owners of either 2013/14 model tell me what the recommended service interval and mileage is as well as when the vehicle manual states the timing belt and water pump should be changed - yearly interval and mileage please.

Cheers

David

It’s a chain, there is no service interval, the same for the water pump. The only thing suggested on these is 10k oil changes, not variable that comes preset from the factory.

Mr Max is spot on.

You may well already know about the variety of extra oil changes these require for different bits of the driveline. It's important to stay on top of these.

Related question Dr G - I know it's only the RS that has quoted change intervals for diff fluids - is it advised to do them on the S at any particular point?

Ours is coming up to 60k miles now and thinking with the QSD in the back it might be worth doing.....

If you mean the Haldex then I believe it is 38k or 4 years for oil and filter change (on a TTRS)

I have a B8 RS5 too and it’s the same drivetrain as the B8 RS4 (unless I’m very dim).

Nope, it seems to be the usual Audi 'sealed for life' on those.

Were it mine and a keeper I'd change the oil. Sport diffs are incredibly expensive to replace and to my knowledge there is nobody, anywhere in the world repairing or rebuilding them.
