Coming home from France last night I was genuinely shocked by 3 motorbikes on the M25.
Near the M23 juction, clockwise.
I was travelling at 0.85 and in the flow of traffic & they cut passed my wing mirror and that of the car I was passing at least +40 mph and with inches of clearence.
Riders in jeans & t-shirt, no plates.

This wasn’t Paris Periferique style ‘filtering’, more road racing or escaping the scene of a crime.
Given that a helmet was the only ‘kit’ thry had on and they had small rucksacks I’m guessing the latter.

I dialled Crimestoppers & told them, just incase it was criminal.

Did anyone else see it? Is this a regular occurrence?

Not sure if it's the same guys but I regularly see 3 bikes, 2 black ones and a blue/white one racing near me.

They start up by J8 on the M25 and go down the A217 all the way until about Rose Hill, then turn around and go back again. When I've seen them they never wear any safety gear (except helmets) and number plates aren't attached. I don't see them every week but I can hear them pass by which must happen at least twice a week.

Never bothered reporting to anyone though as the Police won't do anything anyway.

See plenty of this type of stuff around London - normally youngsters 2-up on a moped/scooter, plate missing, passenger not wearing a helmet. If 1-up then pulling wheelies.

I never bother reporting it either as nobody seems to care and it's not worth wasting my time any more.

Ahhh, that sounds like them.

Nutters.

I only bothered to report in-case they were on the run from doing something nasty to someone, may have helped plod out.

Sounds like the worst they will do is kill themselves, Darwin award beckons...

Right thing to do though, no plate / identification means that they are up to no good anyway and the more reports there are the more likely a chance of some action might occur.

Search for 'Ghostrider' on YouTube. 300km/h, doing a wheelie, on public roads.

Worst they could do on the motorway is cause an accident and kill not only themselves, but innocent motorists.

Saw 2 of these s at Rosehill last week. No helmet on 1 of them. Just blew through the red lights. No doubt be the first to complain if hit by something.

I swear I wish I had a large (registered to fake address) Discovery or something, just to go around ramming these s (and wheelieing quad bike owners) when I see them laugh

Interesting thought, but not sure if you would want to deal with the fallout from the "community" they represent though ...

This lot I don't think are from a community. Just feral chavs. But tbh in my fantasy. I wouldn't be hanging around to exchange details after mashing 2 or 3 of them into a wall laugh

I have a similar fantasy about driving a LWB van with the left side covered in thick foam so I can gently deposit middle-lane hoggers back into lane 1....

Those are different guys to who I was talking about. The guys that I mentioned aren't on quads or scooters but proper bikes, 600 and above I reckon. They don't stop for anything, blow lights, set of speed cameras all without number plates.

It's weird cos having seen these guys a few times, they look artificially large, not gym large but just plump. Almost like they have leathers on under the tracksuits and hoodies.

Your guys just look like generic chav/scum of the bike life variety, I'm not so sure these bikers I see are like that.

I've seen them numerous times since last May. This is an old clip but this is the best I could do from it.
