Anguoleme Circuit des Remparts advice
Discussion
Am going to be in France when this is on in September and have managed to persuade SWMBO to agree to a visit provided she has a hotel with a pool to lie around while I attend. Haviing sorted out that aspect, I would be grateful for feedback on the following from those who have attend in the past:
1 I assume that without entering through a car club I will not be able to take part in the rally on the Saturday (and will, anyway, be without a navigator ...). I have read that the route is published and it’s easy enough to find out here it goes and spectate - has anyone done this?
2 which is the best grandstand to book?
Thanks

You can enter the 'official' rally on the Saturday directly through the organisers website, but most people just follow the published route and save themselves 300.00 euros.
Each to his own, but we use the 'Cathedral Tribune', which gives great views and is opposite the large screen which shows the rest of the track action.
Don't forget the concours on the Friday night..........we will be entering again in the TR3a.

Every time I've been, the ticket to get to the inside of the track allows you to sit in all the stands, and even better, go stand anywhere right on the edge of the track. Standing on the inside of the corners, 5cm from the track, for example is good, or you can stand on the ramparts and look down on the racing, or poke around in what is effectively the pit garages etc....
