Sorry guys, I’m at a loss and would welcome anyone ideas.

Budget = £19,000 max, ideally less.

I have been on the hunt for a LCI e92 M3 but I’m not finding any within budget that I like the look of or in a condition I’m happy with.

So, I’d like as much tech as poss, as new as poss, as fast as poss. Under 60k, ideally RWD.

TIA

How about a late E92 335i DCT. It’ll have the N55 engine and is pretty quick. With that budget you can source a high spec low mileage example.

They can also be remapped easily if need be.

I’m ideally after a DCT.

Before the FFRR I just sold I had a C350 (petrol) and I always had the feeling that it was never the C63 that I truly wanted. I’d fear that I’d have the same feeling with a 335i vs an M3.

Whilst a C63 is in budget sadly it would be a pre facelift which having owned the FL C350 I’d feel it would be a step back.

Thank you for these smile

Lexus = I’ve never really liked and the interior just seems cheap.

C63 = Whilst a C63 is in budget sadly it would be a pre facelift which having owned the FL C350 I’d feel it would be a step back.

RS5 = hadn’t thought about this. I will take a closer look at these.

RS4 = always loved these, especially in Avant guise but they have look and feel of an older car now, especially the interior.

VXR8 = the badge puts me off somewhat. I fear it’s just never done it for me.

XFR = lovely looking thing. Having come from a FFRR I’m looking for something a fair chunk smaller. Plus a bit of reliability which I’d worry the jag didn’t have.

Great suggestions; keep them coming smile still thinking M3 at the moment but with a few must haves; EDC, Logic7, ideally Coupe but will consider a convertible, any exterior colour considered, indeally not a black interior but not a show stopper, sensible mileage (under 60k preferably) and LCI but I can live without it being that.

Having owned a manual, i dont think you should have anything but a DCT.

So, to put a happy ending to this thread I’m now the proud owner of a BMW M3 e92 DCT in Silverstone Blue with extended leather, individual spec stereo, comfort access, heated seats and much more.

Very happy so far!
