Farewell Allroad, hello S4
Discussion
Really liked the Allroad a lot, esp. in 2.0 TFSI form. Had it for a year with zero issues. (Had had the 2.0 TFSI VAG recall engine recall work and a new S Tronic gearbox by Audi so wasnt expecting any issues!)
Just collected a very low mileage S4 with a nice uncommon interior, but similar spec in most other respects. Clearly quite a bit quicker having gone from 208bhp to 333bhp. It doesnt hang about!

Yes, 2010 on they're dramatically better (and facelift cars seem to be spot on).
There are now independents that can rebuild them for sensible money too.
Good to know. The Allroad was a 59, and this is an 11. It's also only done a tiny 20,000 miles and only ever been in Audi for it's 5 services. There are now independents that can rebuild them for sensible money too.
I've stuck Audi warranty & roadside on, which isnt cheap at 65 quid a month, but I just don't need a multi-thousand pound bill in my life!

Looks good, I nearly changed my 14 plate vRS for a 59 reg one of these a few months back. It had all the kit but a dodge repair, rust on both front wings and underneath put me off. I'm still looking!!
I looked at a white one nr Southampton and that was a s
tbox, stank of smoke too. Thanks for the wasted 2 hours "we didnt notice", yeah right, so 3 air fresheners is standard is it?!Gassing Station | Readers' Cars | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
