My god - its just over a week away.
Literally bursting with excitement
The drive down will be long and relaxing (in the Vogue)
Looking forward to getting there, seeing all the cool cars that others have traveled down in.,
Also looking forward to a very exciting race.
Very very excited.....

Ditto,

Went last year for the first time thinking it would be one of those 'right, that's that one ticked off the old bucket list...next' type things.

But oohh my, it's bitten deep!

Seek medical advice. laugh

I'm going to my 1st Le Mans.
Figuratively bursting with excitement.
Cheating a bit because I'm travelling by plane to Paris then TGV to Le Mans (rail strike dependant) but looking forward to seeing some of the cars here.

The pace of the Rebellions on the test day could make things interesting.

This time next week I will be arriving at Portsmouth!! bouncebeer

I think this is my 14th pilgrimage, and I think I'm more excited now than I was in the late 90's with the crazy GT1 cars..

There are so many great things to discover, you're in for a treat..

If you do one thing on your first trip, try and get to Arnage corner for some night racing.. it's worth it..

My personal opinion is they’re worth it. Been to LM 10 times, and only started getting grandstand seats recently.

We still venture to plenty parts of the circuit during the race to sample different viewing spots, even with the grandstand tickets in our lanyard..... the seats really come in to their own at the start and finish when the crowds are at their biggest.

Also they’re really handy for cover if it’s roasting hot or peeing down - and it’s usually one or the other at some point in the race!

Tribune seats are certainly worth it for the reasons stated. However, don't be persuaded to get seats in the pits grandstand because you cannot see the pits unless you are in the front row! Far better to get seats on the outside of the circuit....and great if you can see a giant TV screen.

16th year on the bounce this year, and I have to say the pre race excitement hasn’t built yet. Cars not even washed to within a inch of its life yet. However, I know come next Thursday getting onto the ferry it will build and then seeing the circuit for the first time, I’ll be back in the zone.

Race viewing has got more relaxed over the years, going with my dad, but too be honest it suits me also. Mixing the racing with nice social time back in the village we stay rather than punishing myself for far too long trackside.

The true test will be at the end of the race. I always have one last look back down the pit straight on the way to the car and there and then I gauge whether I’ll be back the next year. Do I still have that ‘fizz’ - ‘I must be back next year’? So far so good.

7 days till ferry!!!!! (Okay, even thinking about the place has got me excited)

100% looking forward to Rebellions if they are reliable.

The GT Pro category is that excites more this year - the M8.. the Fords and of course the astons and screaming ferraris and 911s

1 week today.....

I have grandstand seats at the start / finish line (as usual) its great - for the start and the finish of the race or a nap during the night.

Get the right view and you get a big screen to stare at too.

But its travelling around the circuit that does it for me. Decathlon Scooters - perfect.

If you can still get them then do so...So many advantages.

12th year of attendance so the bug has bitten here too, we set off Monday, towing a caravan so nice and steady, too bloody old and grumpy for tents nowadays!!
