Considering changing from an Evoque to X5

Hi all,

We've been offered a great deal on an X5 3.0d M Sport. We are considering changes my wife's car. Has anyone made this switch? Are there many X5 owners on here? I drove it and i absolutely loved it, the wife wasn't as convinced. I liked it as it seemend a jacked up version of my M6 i suppose and the build quality seems far superior to the 'experience' we've had with the Evoque..

Anyone made the switch?

Is the X5 decent off road? (in realistic scenarios, not taking on Everest!)

Any input would be great!

I used to have a x3 3.0d m sport same engine and gearbox as the x5.It was super economical and that ZF gearbox is never wrong. You will find it a huge step forward, the only thing is to check out the firm suspension if its not got adaptive dampers. Go for it LOL
