So we are hearing the stories of the victims on the other thread and thought it maybe interesting to hear the other side. Any reformed naughty kids wanna confess any past misdemeanors/opportunistic opportunities?

I stole a pair of gloves once, from a guy at an autojumble, he was selling 5 pairs of gloves for £2 but I put 6 pairs in the bag and he didn't notice.

Also, on more than one occasion I short-changed Reading Buses during my time at uni. After the price hike from £1 a ticket to £1.20, and the "no-change given" hoppers they used for fares, I would regularly just fill the hopper up with the loose coins I had lying around - remember I was a student so I saved every penny and stinged wherever I could, so often a handful of enough coins looked like £1.20 to the drivers enough for them not to care.

But no, I've never murdered anyone, been part of a paedophile gang, set up a ponzi scheme, mugged an old lady or burgled the house of a stair-dominating PH'er just to steal the keys to his leased Audi S3 and Golf R

I believe that the coins are now weighed by the hoppers... of course if the fare was just £1.20 I suspect that this was some time ago and things were not so sophisticated.

Of course there was this time where me and 14 mates knocked off a train, but that's kind of a long story.

I once accidentally put a birthday card inside a a gift bag in Tesco and the cashier didn't see the contents of said bag.

I once broke the speed limit too.

I was part of a team (I wouldn't call it a gang by any means) if aholes and idiots (the aholes preyed on the idiots) who sold MDMA pills and Cannabis in the late 90s. My 'Friend' and landlord that 'headed the team' shall we say got banged up for 14 months in 2000. Ironically he was in a house to drop off 1000 pills to someone, when he found himself needing a lighter for his joint, so he popped next door to someone who he sold cannabis too, he went through the back door, just as the police came through the front. I left for Australia a few weeks later, although it was being planned for a few months prior to that.

Looking back how easily my life could have been changed forever to the sake of being part of a group, I made hardly any money from it.

I was only charged the OAP rate for a haircut (£6.95 instead of £10.95)

Irritated that I looked old enough but too mean to protest. The girl was pleased with her £2 tip though.

I once stole a large bath towel from IKEA, or rather, some of it.

I thought I had 3x medium towels and scanned 1x medium towel three times.

When I got home I realised I had 2x medium towels and 1x large towel.

Still feel guilty to this day.

I stole a side light bulb from Tesco once as I refused to pay £9 for the "bulb pack" when I needed one bulb. The bulb-warning light on the car was annoying to my OCD.

I scanned an individual product barcode on a multipack of beer at a French self-service till. I assumed it was some sort of excellent local deal that I hadn't picked up on.

Walking back from the pub with a mate of mine early hours, we must've been about 18 as he was starting uni the week after. We were passing a big old country house getting renovated, no windows or anything, big old pile. Nothing was locked up we just walked in, I wanted to see the inside as I used to deliver papers there as a kid. Obviously nobody home so had a nosey about see what was getting done.

Found the builders tea room, it was about kebab 'o clock so we rustled up a bacon sarnie and cuppa with the builders George Foreman and supplies in the fridge.

I sometimes have it haunt me, the thought of leaving the poor bds bacon-less on a Monday morning...

Stole a traffic cone while at uni, so pretty tame. Then 10 minutes later a couple of my housemates get back with a temporary roadworks sign, some barriers and a temporary traffic light... pretty much filled the living room.

The next morning one of them started to get paranoid about getting a knock on the door from the police, so carried it all upstairs and hid it in the loft. 17 years later, I wonder if it's still there.

Woolies used to keep their three sizes of plastic bags in dispensers by the till, but easily accessible to punters. Snaffle one (or more) as you walked in, fill it will Lego, walk out.

Master criminal, age 11 edition hehe

(think the statute of limitations will have passed for that one)
