Wife's E81 has pinged an Air Bag Warning light - Help

MOT is in a week, just my luck.

The air bag light has pinged up with a seat belt warning light too.
The MOT is very soon. Do I purchase a code reader and try to clear it myself or get someone to look into it??

If the reader is the better option, can anyone recommend

No need for a reader, 99% certain it will be the passenger seat pressure sensor. They flimsy as hell and an MOT failure.
