Zorbing

Anyone ever tried it? Id like to give it a try this summer Worried it might be a big to scary for my girlfriend, who isnt the bravest of people when it comes to things like rolling down hills at 30mph in 12 high balls (which is what zorbing is).

It's cracking fun.

You do get quite dizzy, and standing up afterwards is funny… worth a laugh if you like roller coasters and that sort of stuff, and quite cheap. Was only about £50 when I did it a few years back.

Im up for it But considering the girlfriend though, the quoted 30mph... is it scary? And was your Zorb filled with water? I think its about £60 today.

Expect to get wet

The grass was wet, and I got absolutely soaked… no know if you get to 30mph on the "experience days out" type thing… but it's first enough..!!

my only concern is if it makes you motion sick...cos I really wanna go too...tend to feel a bit unwell on waltzer style rides and those simulator rides....thoughts?

Zorbing is great fun!

Did it in Rotorua, NZ where it was invented, definitly worth the cash.

Went down a hill in an old tractor tyre when I was 15.

Missed out on my zorbing because we didnt have enough time there. They do one where they chuck in a bucket of water too, keeps you cool I gues.

Did I not see a company in Dorset that does 'wet zorbing' for pairs; two of you strapped in and covered in water before rolling down the hill? Now that appealed to me!

I had it booked through red letter days a couple of years ago, they then phoned me to cancel as they had had a couple fo accidents and taken it off their books. I still havent had a refund mind so thanks for the reminder.

Lets hope they give you your money back. I dont suppose you have any idea how or what kind of accident occured?
