E93 335i Standard Exhaust

Hi All,

I'm considering getting the M Performance exhaust mod done to my car.

However I heard my car being driven by my sibling and the exhaust was quite audible with popping on downshifts.

I don't want to travel all the way up north to find out its already been done!

I tested this myself driving it in DS and revving to 3.5k whilst driving and on the downshifts there are gurgles and pops. Is this normal for a standard 2007 335i?

Yes, I was pretty happy with stock on my E92 335i, there is also the golf-tee mod you can do. Plenty of vids on it.

It may have just been golf tee modded. Look under the rear bumper at the left exhaust pipe, there is a box there with a hose coming from it. If the hose has been removed and had something stuffed in the end (like a golf tee, I used a bolt myself) then that's why it sounds awesome.
