Anyone know where I can find out info about these? Basically, they're retro-styled jackets a bit like Steve McQueen's in Le Mans, and you can get them in a range of classic motorsport liveries with the badges on. I fancy one in black with gold stripes and a Lotus badge on.

Unfortunately, the website doesn't work. It should be www.rtretro.com, but it's not working. Anyone know where else I can browse and order them?

That link doesn't work because there is a comma at the end of it. The website is working fine though.

In the archives theres mention of the Newman Le Mans jacket in antique white leather with a blue and red stripe.

I keep meaning to buy one they are only cheap, £100 odd.

Right, Website's up now. Going to order one in Lotus 'Essex' colours (dark blue, big silver stripe, small red stripes) with Lotus logo - works out at £52.94 - pretty damn good for a custom motorsport jacket.

Just ordered mine in these colours:

With the Lotus badge and a 'Ford - power by Cosworth' logo, all a reference to the Grand Prix team at the time.

That's cool. And they have the proper Capri emblem that is the same as my car. I may need one for when I am out in this:

You might also want to have a look at:
www.grandprixjackets.com

I bought my Le Mans "Mechanic" version last year at the Goodwood Revival having seen them at the Le Mans Classic.... it has realistic oil stains

I love those jackets, as per McQueen in LeMans. The only prob is, you need just 1% of the coolness of the man McQueen to not look a sad tt in one.Sadly it wouldn't look good on me ... so I don't have one

One of the reasons why I got the Essex Petroleum Team Lotus one rather than a McQueen rep. It's easier to carry off DeAngelis, Andretti, Mansell and Reutemann than trying to buy into the McQueen image.

I did fancy a JPS one, but they didn't do one , so I got the next best thing

I take it they suit the Mopar drag scene better then - are they more Carroll Shelby than Steve McQueen then - cool!

They go with your name then (haven't checked your profile - I'm assuming you have a piece of classic Mopar muscle)

Edited to say - Dodge Dart 440 CI - cooooooooool

Now I do quite fancy one of the GP Le Mans jackets, anyone know how the sizes work out, ie what is a XL in inches around the chest or more importantlly around the belly?
