Can anybody tell me how to get at the air filter on a 2017 boxster 718

If it's the same as the 981, then you'll need to strip out all the rear trim in the boot to get at it. Not a quick job.

Missed opportunity to note that the air filter in the 718 won't sound as good as the 981?

Nope - unlike some I try not to trash threads!

The filter is different, 981 2 conical filters as already said accessed from the boot, the 718 is a flat single filter near side and again accessed from the boot compartment.
