Having a massive craving for a proper Burger King Angus burger, but the nearest one is the best part of an hours round trip for me (and that's on top of a 45 minute commute home) frown

Any suggestions on how to recreate the taste using supermarket ingredients?

If you really want to do it properly then this is a starting point

By breaking everything down bit by bit you can normally work out ratios to get the flavours similar.

Obviously "flame grilling" will be an element of it as well.

Biggest factor I find when recreating take-away is let your replica rest wrapped up for a few minutes in a luke warm oven.

Brings the whole thing up to an even temperature and that really does make a massive difference.

And start with pedigree meat rather than dairy cow cross meat smile
