Hi all, sorry to be a thicko but I've just paid for my son to have PS Plus and he wants to play Fortnite, but when I search on the PS Store, it's not there?

I thought there was supposed to be some free version online play?

Thanks for any help.

Update - it turns out the PS Store is linked to the account holders age and therefore doesn't allow games which are in excess of the account holders age (fortnite is a 12) and he is 11. He cannot change his DOB online, and me as the family manager cannot 'authorise' him to use it!

So he's spent £50 on PS plus and can't use it for the main reason he bought it! Ridiculous! What a con.

Its not a con it's just he is too young.
People would moan if they didn't have the age restrictions.

I'm fairly certain Fortnite is the only game you don't need a ps plus subscription to play online, too.

Ah right. So the workaround is that I sign in and he plays under my username. That makes me happier that the £50 wasn’t wasted (as he’ll play his mates with FIFA)

You could always create him a new log in with no age restriction in - that's what I ended up doing for my daughter to play it.

Yeah but he’s just spent £50 on PS plus so unless that’s transferable then I can’t do this.
