Porsche wont rip CD to HDD?

Really missing this function I cant seem to find. Anyone know if its possible like you can in any recent BM? Its the 2017 PCM.

Like the CD's as its always safe on a shelf and 1 of my other cars doesn't even have a newfangled HDD etc

The Jukebox function on PCM can store music but has to be from a USB; download your playlists onto a USB; upload into the Jukebox and away you go!

Check the manual for specific format - mp3 etc.

Thanks for the link. I clearly have to change the way I do things.

I have many folders of albums on the PC and phone. Is the best workflow maybe to copy these to a 32Gb SD card that can sit in the car's SD card slot. I can then remove and update with new albums? Solid state seems a better way than the car's spinning HDD?

I don't want to Bluetooth the audio from phone to car as its a phone for calls plus I don't want another device to fiddle with and distract me in the car. Plus its the kids job to Bluetooth their tunes so they get that media connection!
