Ive just become the devil
Discussion
Someone at work mentioned how the m4 protest was going to annoy them and did the whole 'if you dont want a ticket, dont speed, speed kills' bit.
Suffice to say the opponent dug themselves into a huge hole and lost but still I believe ive just attained the rank of master criminal in the eyes of my colleagues

join the club had this the other day with some one trying to explain how cameras where inproving road safety as everyone would be driving at a sensible speed.
they suggested that by never speeding all would be safer, argueing how you have to be lucky all the time to avoid a ticket the police have to be lucky once.
But, When pushed they had to agree that on the odd occaision they did break the speed limit.
So of course they did not like my suggestion that driving within the limits at any time you did not agree with them was pointless as you will be caught at some point for an indescretion anyway.
Better hung for a sheep than hung for a lamb after all.

I have worked with some really great people-but then they have been accountants.
Ah, you mean the biggest pot heads, alcoholics and pill poppers in the entire uni!?
Only reason why people think accountants are dull is because half are, and the other half are still in 'recovery' 20 years later

If being the Devil means not believing everything you're told, I'll wear the spiky tail every time.
I have this imaginary dialogue:
'Why did you drive at 30mph along there?'
'Because it says so on the signs.'
'So what speed would you go if it said 40mph?'
'40.'
'But the road is the same. Explain please.'
Or, in the case of a recent limit reduction:
'Why did you drive at 40mph along there?'
'Because it says so on the signs.'
'I guess that when it was a 60mph limit you did maybe 50+ ?'
'Er, well probably, yes'
'So you were driving dangerously then were you?'
'Er...'
