What helicopter over east London

Just had a couple of odd heli's come over east London.
They were using the normal corridor there is nothing showing on flight radar.
One had a fixed tri-cycle under carriage and they were flying low and at a sedate pace.
Just curious

The one with the fixed wheels looked in the distance like an old school Sikorsky at least one a civvy

Bristol type 171 Sycamore?

Only reason I think it might be that is that an acquaintance of mine posted a video clip to social media yesterday of it calling in at the airfield he’s based at to refuel.
It was going to the raf cosford airshow I believe.

Sycamore would be a rare sighting indeed as that example is the only one still flying.

That's the case with all helicopters.

Piston engined choppers were a lot more shaky than turbine powered ones.

Yep, but it always surprises people when they put a hand on an Apache's tailboom during a ground run. All sorts of oscillations going on.

Yep, owned by Red Bull, and yes the only one still flying, it's an export HR.52 and ex-GAF (or KM, I'm not sure which) and is over for Cosford and staying here for RIAT as well IIRC.

I can remember as a child the 'chatter' of them flying low over my house on a regular basis when operated by 32 Sqn.
