Evening all,

Very pleased to say that I am the proud owner of my very first M car, an e92 M3 DCT one silverstone Blue.

One quick questions; what is the normal operating temperature of the car and what would it leak at after a spirited drive?

TIA

Mine will hover above 100c after being exercised. So long as I'm moving it'll drop back down to somewhere in the late 90s.

Exactly the same here.

Also it shouldn't leak anything after a drive if that wasn't a typo.

After a month or so of ownership and 2500 miles I can say mine doesn’t seem out of the norm. Peaked at around 108c today after 20mins of spirited driving in 30degree heat then sitting in traffic.

Check the water temperature in the secret menu (google it). Many many E9x owners have faulty thermostats but never realise and the water temperature only gets to around 65-70c which then means the oil takes ages to warm up. A non faulty thermostat should sit at 79c and barely move.
