Hi Guys,

Well my BGTS is now out of warranty and it's time to start playing. I'm a small frame and move around alot in the standard GTS seats, the car has sports chassis so rides so flat but I am moving about in the seat and the bolsters do not do a great job of holding me in. Makes me feel disconnected to the car.

So looking for a set of bucket seats, that I can plug into the heating system as I am roof off all the time haha.

Any ideas Guys? Porsche want crazy amount for Sports bucket seats, I've seen GT3 carbon seats but there not heated. Can you retro fit heated seats in the seat and wire it into the buttons on the centre console? Also seen Recaro Pole Positions in leather but same question regarding heating and will the side mount bolt on to the existing rail, if so will it raise the ride height?

Thanks
Jay

If you're happy with aftermarket then you can wire in the Waeco heated pads. This has been done many times on 986 and 987 and plenty of non Porsche cars.

I think cost wise after market will be the only way forward. I have seen these, but would prefer not to have Recaro written on them so they don't look aftermarket.

I'd look to get a second hand pair of Pole Positions and then get them re-trimmed properly.

What do you mean retrimmed properly?

I currently have the GTS interior pack so having the Silver stitching and GTS stitched on the head rests would make them look OEM ish.

Will have to keep an eye out of a pair.

Would selling my GTS seats be a problem, would my car sell ok with buckets done properly? I'm guessing my GTS seats could sell for a food price?

Cheers guys, once I get seats sorted a smaller Cayman GT4 wheel wouldn't go a miss lol.

With OEM leather and stitching. Anything aftermarket will look, well, aftermarket but get them trimmed like you have already and they'd just blend in nicely
