I seem to be getting a significant vibration at a specific road speed (65-67mph) which is accompanied by a thrumming sound from the rear of the car (NS I think). Admittedly the tyres are worn (about 2 mm left) but the thrumming and a light shimmy of the steering wheel under breaking is always present.
I suspect an issue with the rear of the car (V50 FWD) causing an abnormal wear pattern but I can't hear any knocks, bangs, or obvious signs of anything with excessive play.
Where to start? Will be getting new tyres soonish...

First off, have all wheels balanced, a needless expence if you have only 2mm of tread left. New tyres should be balanced anyway, often at no extra or minor cost.
