Does anybody know the location of the microwave
sensor on the Meta alarm fitted to the Tuscan?
I had heard it was somewhere under the centre console
but it's not on mine.I can sit in the car with the
alarm on and move about without it going off.
Just had a thought as mine is a 2000 car did they
all have this sensor fitted in the first place?
Any help greatly appreciated as it's roof off
weather at the momment.Feel free to mail direct
through my profile.

Thanks, Col

O.k. not getting anywhere with this one.
How about does anyone know the whereabouts
of the main alarm then I can trace through
the wiring and see if I have a microwave sensor
or not? I was down at Douglas Valley breakers
and picked up a sensor while I was there just
in case.

Yep mine too had it all apart yesterday to...
Adjust alarm setting...
Reconnect my Cigar lighter which had vibrated loose...
Readjusted my handbrake warning light...
Reconnect the rear vent tubing...
And finally..tryed to restick my gearlever gator
All of which started playing up after coming back from the factory

Wonder what happened to mine then? I will have
a good rummage around under the dash to see if
I can locate the wiring for the sensor in case
a previous owner has unplugged the sensor and
lashed it.

Col,.. mine was all wired in to the main loom and looked like it would be a pig to get out with out cutting wiring, i couldn`t see a multi plug? The sensor is a 3"x2" box with a red sticker on it? correct?

Yes that's the one. I picked one up from
the breakers the other day and the box has
two sockets on it so I just presumed that
there should be two plugs lurking somewhere
under the dash for me to plug it in with.I might
have a look later if the bloody rain stops.

Found the four pin multiplug buried in
a plop load of wires under the centre console.
Plugged the unit I got from the breaker's into
it and hey presto it works fine.
