How much time to leave before Eurotunnel crossing...

Last time out, I got a later train and therefore got stuck in the inevitable huge jam on the way to Folkstone

This year, we're getting the 7:20 on Thursday. Eurotunnel obviously says come 30 mins before - I was thinking more like an hour 15mins.

Thoughts?

We normally get the 7:39 and get to the terminal about 7ish...

Earlier this year, aiming for the 7:09 so give us a wave if you see us.

Along with a aston v8v, tt rs, 911, all in black with the same stickers and a golf gti cabrio mk1 in dark blue which might have the same ones

On busy days, they pretty much put you on the first available train as you check in, as long as you are in time for your booking. So if you get there 1h 15m ahead, you will prob be put onto an earlier train.

That's what I've experienced in the past, but was just wondering if being Le Mans that might be out the window!

Actually I think they now say min 45 minutes before.

Currently at the tunnel, delays due to high vehicles... Think we'll be 25 minutes behind time
