Just had a nip for 91 on the m25 at 0530 on a clear dry Sunday.

Only question is what the outcome will be? £100 and 3 points or worse?

I think the ‘world of pain’ starts at 94. So 3 points and a fistfull of $$$ is a fair bet.
It’s too easy for them on the motorway. Best keep those speeds for another road.

Bad luck my a..e.
Stupid to be doing the speed & you'd have to be either brain dead or living on another planet not to know the outcome

Don't be ridiculous. The only criticism can be for lack of observation. Driving at that speed at that time is perfectly safe most of the time. I don't give a stuff that it's illegal.

Brain dead? Lol! You need to wind it in a bit WJNB!

Empty, dry road 4 lanes wide. It was perfectly safe. My choice to take the risk too. I’ve done that section, jct 11-10, many times at that speed. Not sure why I tripped it that day.

Pepipoo is advising it’s 3 points and £100 so that’s fine for me.

If I’m reading the table right it’s just the 3 points and £100 yes?

An alleged 91mph in a 70mph limit is certainly within the range for a fixed penalty, yes.

Interesting as I'd heard that hadecs will catch people driving at over a (true) 90mph even when a reduced limit is not showing. I always slow to 70 for them just in case.
