An S hood does not 1/4 lights there is just one window in the back. If yours has 1/4 light it is not standard.

hi mark
yes your right it must be non standard but looking at the standard ones the plastic screen finishes in about the same area so do they also crease when put down?

I think it's fair to say they crease badly if left in the down position for too long. I know a few owners who roll up a towel and place it 'in the fold' of the window when down to pad it a little. This seems to work...?

I made the mistake with mine of folding the hood down when the temperature was sub-zero. The screen was too brittle and split along the fold.

Expensive error...

although the hood is not torn or ripped i think it would be better if the plastic was only on the flat area and not the curved, can you get a glass rear sceen

I couldn't see that working unless you never folded the hoop down.

And the screen is on the flat part, unless I misunderstand exactly what you mean. It just folds in half when the hoop is down.

You got a photo of yours ? It sounds different from the rest.
