Hi All,

Heard that the French farming community are blockading key petrol depots/refineries which has resulted in fuel supplies being impacted.

Anyone already over in the Northern France and can advise what the fuel situation is like on the ground ?

Thanks ! JP

We are leaving this evening and as per our normal plans, we will re-fuel around 3am ready for the dash back. Will report back tomorrow.

I've just heard the same from family in Normandy. Bigger outlets such as supermarkets in the St Lo area have run out, local stations still have supplies.

That info may only be relevant to Caen/Cherbourg/LeHavre runners, no idea about Calais etc.

We're off from Poole in the morning, not counting the hours at all! smile

Just filled up at Carrefour here in LM. No evidence of either panic buying or shortage of any fuel.

Sorry to not respond. Internet was rubbish via Three all weekend !
No fuel issues observed anywhere along the route.
