The legendary Harrier test pilot, John Farley died last night. He was one of the driving forces behind the aircraft and was, according to those that met him, a very nice chap.

I met him a few times when he came into my uni to test fly our simulator competition aircraft. A real gentleman and fabulous pilot. RIP
