Yes - rare car, but you've got to really like the 996 shape (IMO) to pay that kind of money. I'll give it 2 hours biggrin

Wow

He banged some miles on in 2017 nearly 200 miles.
It’s a shame the uk resale market stops people driving these cars.

Unusually for me not a typo. Car was trailered to the service and trailered back having not been used since the previous service.

Hi Peter,
I'd seen the thread whilst advertising a car in the classifieds logged in under 911virgin. Ordinarily would post under this profile. The car is very special. Hope you're happy with the Viper Cayman mate.
Best to you and your family
Cheers Tom 911virgin

Drive one, you may beg to differ.
Check out total GT2 production numbers, any 996 GT2 is a rare beast, Clubsports are like hen’s teeth. Unmodified, uncrashed, perfect service, low mileage examples are the holy grail (though I had more fun in my near 70k mile example than any low mileage garage queen !!)

To be fair its hard to crash the car when generating a permanent shadow on the garage concrete(the last owner did less than 2k miles in 6 years). Why did they buy this if not to drive it? I bought mine from Tom/Henry and did 85k in 6 years it was my daily. I have to say the best driving experience bar none I have ever had.

Slippydiff,

Just a statement of fact. If I had the means I’d have a 996 GTx without hesitation.

Exclusivity accounts for the majority of the price differential. I wouldn’t need to spend anywhere near £110k on my C2 to get close on handling and performance.

Drama and exclusivity you cannot replicate!

Are those seats right? Half leather half cloth/Nomex type. Not seen that before?
The PCCBs look a bit worn too.
