We purchased a Hisense telly about 18 months ago, it was cheap and you get what you pay for I suppose. Recently over the past several months we are experiencing problems, possibly three times weekly or so the telly freezes. That is we are unable to use any functions at all, although watc hing the television channel that it is froze on is possible.
Now we are experiencing sound loss as well, as a separate issue. Only solution is to switch off mains and reboot when normal service is resumed. Frequency seems to be increasing. Never came across this problem before and mystified tbh

Richer gives 6 years warranty on them so they can't be all bad.

I am now suspecting our humax box to be on the way out perhaps. Hope not as it’s full of recordings I want to keep.
