Anybody work for Sony or good with sony software?

i have a sony netmd minidisc player a sony mz-nh1 with the sony sonicstage version 2.0 software

my problem is that when the player is connected to the pc it does not detect it in the program, but it does in my computer as an external device. when a minidisc with music on it is put in, sonicstage detects it and shows the tracks, although if you take this out and insert a blank one to record some music onto, it says that there is no device inserted!


please help its really annoying me!
