Another what car question

We are about to move out of central London, which means that my wife will want to drive again, after fifteen years off (and she’s never driven on the left).
She fancies a Panda, Fiat 500, or Smart ForTwo, but is there anything else that it is worth looking at.
We’ve an R8 and M3 at the moment, and will probably keep them, but she’d like a little runaround just for her and the baby.
I’d fancy one of the sporty convertible 500s, but am open to anything little, nice, and a bit fun.
