I wish anyone who is going on the protest the best of luck.

Take pride in the fact that today, you will all be the best drivers on the entire planet as you will not be exceeding the speed limit....

PLEASE PLEASE take photographs if you can! I am gutted that I cant be there but I have to go to do some on-call work in Plymouth

Show the s what we really think

Thanks for the good wishes.

I am looking forward to it. Should be good to get a big gathering of like minded people making a stand against the Scamera partnerships

Will take my camera along and get some photos on the net upon my return.

Me too, but I can't. I'm rather hoping this is the start of a larger repeated sequence of similar actions.

The protest is mentioned (with Paul and SafeSpeed) in the Daily Telepgraph today (see 'Interesting article' post).

Good luck and safe driving to all involved. I pray there are no accidents and that no-one is silly.

If anyone spots any agents provocateurs, take their photographs for future reference.

From where I was sitting at the front of the car park, (green focus, with a pistonheads mini parked behind)I would give a conservative estimate of about 70 odd cars and a hell of a lot of bikes starting at membury services - a chap I spoke to there said there were similar numbers starting at the other point.

Was certainly impressive. The way the cars were driven and spaced made it look like there was a hell of a lot more than there was as well.

Well done everybody. Bloody good work.

Hi guys, only just found this thread. Did anyone else get some videos or photos? I put my photos up at www.pbase.com/m4protest

I took my video camera, at some point over the next week Im going to splice it and get it up so you can see what went on. We were interviewed for ITV, but I didnt see it on telly, so I guess it never made it on

Not a bad turnout, I heard that there were about 200 cars heading in each direction.
