I currently own Peugeot 406 2.0 HDi.
It's a great car. Comfortable, reliable and with plenty of room.

But now, things changed. I don't do as much miles as before, because I changed my job and I mostly do short trips with my car.

And now, I want a change. I want something smaller, coupe or HB, I prefer petrol, with at least 130hp and something that isn't too expensive to maintain.

What I searched for:
Alfa GT - just what I need, nice looking coupe, drives well, but JTD is the way to go, and I would like a petrol.

Fiesta ST 150 - looks like a good choice. Small car, 150 hp, interior isn't the best but I can get over that. Thing is, for the almost same amount a money, maybe a little more, I can get a Civic Type S 1.8.
It's a little slower, but it seems better built, more "grown up" car..

What are your thoughts? Do you have any experience with Type S 1.8 petrol? Some say it's too slow, some say it's fine.

The type s isn't even a thing in my view. In the EP3 shape it was just a trim level with a sticker that said S type on the side. When they went to the fn2 they realised the strength of branding it as type S (level down from type R) but it was still a less than lukewarm car with some trim.
