Fallen for an American - Chevy Suburban

Well, I've just been on a 3000 mile epic American road trip to the west coast with 3 of my mates. It was amazing. But one of the biggest surprises was the car! We originally booked a chevy tahoe 'or similar' and when we turned up at sixt they offered a bigger chevy suburban!
The car, well its 5.7m, 8 seat, 4WD, 5.3 litre beast. It weighs in at just over 3 tonne (with a full tank and us lot in it) and has 360hp from its lovely V8.
It was a pleasure to drive. Had a 6 speed smooth but fast changing automatic gearbox, switchable 4wd, towing mode (held on to gears longer and down-changed more on downhills) and all the modern day bells and whistles (lane assist, cruise, city braking etc etc).
The engine was brilliant too, smooth and a nice power curve. It had cylinder deactivation too so gave pretty good MPG for what it is (20 USmpg over 3000 miles). We tested the 0-60 as well and managed 8.5 which we thought was pretty good, it never felt like a slouch.
In short, big v8, big size, ridiculously comfortable, easy to drive and 4 big car nerds, all loved it!
