OBD port

Trying to sort out emissions on my 1998 Superlight R.
Can anyone tell me where the OBD port is ?

Pretty sure it's the unused plug linked in where the main ecu plug is connected.

Just curious, but what can you sort re emissions through the OBD port?

Its normally just floating about free under the dashboard by the steering column.

Thanks found it just above steering column.
Apparently you can plug diagnostic gear into it and check ecu settings etc. ?

I'm not an expert, but I don't think you'll get much out of the OBD port other than fault codes. I suspect you'll need to plug into the ECU itself for anything meaningful using the proper lead and software.
