Hope you can see them, seemed to be lot more suppport westbound than eastbound. All 3 lanes used, and not so go-slow.

Lots of hooting and waving.

3rd back in lane 3?? afraid so

anyway eastbound number 2 goin through now, far far more satisfactory, still a 3 lane queue at slow speeds 10 minutes after first cars went through.

will post another up but loads of pics will sort through later.

email on go slow those expecting pics direct, sorry.

Hoping you have a pic of the massive gap preceeding the convoy, would look good.

Sorry I could'nt be there lads but I think someone on the PR team could pick this comment as an exact example

BBC Website quoted Partnership Idiot with an iq of 5 said:

Sgt Nick Blencowe, from the £artnership, said: "We have about 12% of all people being killed and seriously injured on Wiltshire roads happening on this stretch of £otorway and that's quite unacceptable.

"We are charged with reducing death and injury on the roads. If we ignore the motorway we are ignoring a major part of that problem."

Sensible Motorist with a normal IQ said said:

Well maybe if the £artneships read the accident reports they'd find the problem is'nt £peed related in which case you are ignoring it you dimwit

Ask this Sgt Idiot (sorry but a quote like that makes you one) to read out in public the 10 most recent accident reports, then make a comment on them and tell us why your concentrating on speed not the causes of these accidents.

Looks like a normal day on the M25

Will the politicos give a shiny shite about it? I very much doubt it.

I see that given weeks to prepare a sensible arguement, the Partnership could only come up with sensationalist figures (again).

Saira Khan from the Wiltshire Safety Camera Partnership said:
more than 200 people had died or were seriously injured on the M4 in the past year, and defended the use of the cameras, saying: “If those 240 people had been wiped out in one day there would have been an outcry.

No probs drop me a mail through PH and it will be on its way. Well done for taking part.

edited to add,
No time now but I have about 30 odd photos file size 400kb > 1.3Mb (1600x 1200). Five of them you see above but in low res. I'm going to burn a CD with them on to send to Paul Smith/Robin S as there was no way the logistics of a direct upload to Paul's laptop could work today, time pressures prevailed on my side.

I suggest when Paul S has had his pick of which ones he wants, then I'm quite happy to provide images to whoever to host and if people see themselves on a pic then I can send them the original.

If anyone has a neater way of doing it, and for sure someone will, then shout, as said before will confess to being a total IT numpty.

btw the offer of pics includes the two bike cops at the head of the Membury convoy. You geezers are mid frame. img_0747 if you want to place your order

Bloody well done everyone, if I could've joined you I would.
As for the responses by Sgt numbskull and 'Saira' keep digging the holes, you're doing a far better job on your own of becoming ludicrous
