Heater stopped working in 400SE

Removed and replaced all fuses, is the centre part of dashboard housing the control switches easy to remove to check for switch corrosion? If so HOW????

Also glove box veneer rolled itself up and fell into my passenger well during winter. Need to replace, Know anyone good?

Remove radio to get access to two bolts. Quite easy really. Sorry if the photo is too big but it shows the setup.

Perry, if you mean the heater fan has packed in, it probably is the switch. The contacts aren't really rated to handle the current that the fan motor draws and the plastic melts, or the contacts arc that badly that they won't pass current. Usual failure is that it'll work OK on low speed but not on high.
It is possible to strip the switches to check for damage...

Yep, took my switch apart and the high speed rocker had heated the base it was on and shrunk. It rocked OK but no contact. I was going to sort it but a winter with constant use, and rainx anti mist, its on me list.
