Hey Guys,

Looking for advice on a fun, investment car.

Budget 30-40k ish

What would you buy?

Cars I like the look of :

BMW E87 1m
BWM E46 CSL

Or spend 20k ish on a BMW E46 M3 CS and keep the change??

Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

D

DB9. No idea if values will go up or not but in the meantime you do get to have an Aston.....

I’m sure this pops up every week however avoiding all the should you invest in car stuff your top budget is at the bottom end of the Honda NSX’s in the classifieds.

Think you're a little light for a BMW E46 CSL.

If you like BMW's try a BMW Z4M Coupe

TVR's are lovely but they seem like such a risk as far as reliability! ;-/

Love that csl.

I don't think the E46 M3 cs is special enough. The CSL is a different story.

Depending on what you plan to use the car for, then a 996 Turbo would be a good bet. Values have been on the UP for the past few years and with time will continue upwards.

E46 CSL is great but do you think that trend will continue? They've sat for a while.

1m is limited so also seems good but the same applies.

996 turbo! Lovely! I'll have a look!

There's quite a few 1m's for sale at the moment.

I wouldn't recommend as an investment at the prices they are now.

The best air cooled 911 you can afford.

Great fun, prices have only gone one way since I bought mine.

I just don't feel they are going to appreciate.

We can only speculate, no one knows whats going to happen.

Many dealers in this part of the market feel it's all starting to slow down now.

I'll be happy to be proven wrong though.
